Tijuana Restaurant Week 2026: how the 199, 399 and 799-peso menus work, and which of our places are in

Tijuana Restaurant Week starts Monday, Nov. 2, and runs through Thursday, Nov. 12. The restaurant chamber, Canirac Tijuana, organizes it, and participating places serve fixed-price menus at 199, 399 or 799 pesos; the official site, tijuanarestaurantweek.mx, lists more than 120 participating locations, many of them branches of the same brands (our announcement story has the background). We went through the site’s three price pages and matched them against the places we’ve profiled, so you can plan by budget and neighborhood. We don’t rate restaurants; the notes below come from the official lists and our profiles.

How it works

  • Pick a price first. The site has a page for each price, and each page lists the places offering that menu. Some names appear on more than one page, so say which menu you want when you order.
  • Courses and drinks vary. The site describes three-course offers. Diario Tijuana reported menus of two or three courses that may include drinks, with or without alcohol, while Opinia said each menu comes with a drink, so ask before you order.
  • Not every location offers every price. Opinia noted that the three tiers won’t necessarily be available everywhere and advised checking each menu’s conditions before you go.
  • Watch for extras. Diario Tijuana reported ten special events, such as pairing dinners, to be announced on the campaign’s social media; the event is @tijuanarestaurantweek.mx on Instagram.

The 799-peso page

From our directory, the 799 page lists Misión 19 and Georgina (spelled “Geogina” on the list) in Zona Río; Oryx, Casa Tijuana and Bodega 8 in the Agua Caliente and Hipódromo area; Caesar’s in Zona Centro; Sushi en la Azotea in Zona Río; and Fuego Santo at Plaza Península in La Mesa. Other names on that page include 1930 Bar Lounge, Mochomos, Cordero Negro, Origenes de Baja (OBA), Rivoli, Shinto and Tohoku Japanese Cuisine.

The 399-peso page

The middle page mixes restaurants, a brewery and two bars. From our directory: Norte Brewing Co. and La Justina in Zona Centro, La Diferencia in Zona Río, Cabanna in Agua Caliente, and Lion Fish, with its Zona Río, La Terraza and Alameda branches all listed (see our LionFish Restaurant Río profile). Fuego Santo, Sushi en la Azotea and Bodega 8 appear on this page too, as do Colibria Cocktail Day Bar and 1930 Bar Lounge.

The 199-peso page

The lowest price leans casual: brunch and chilaquiles spots, burger joints, seafood, a bakery and Korean food, plus many branches of Blue Luna, Karnes en su Jugo and Bol Corona. Names on this page include Oliva Brunch, Vieko Chilaquiles, 80/20 Burger Joint, Mariscos El Cata, Etereo Panadería, K Bulgogi, Café Cecut and Patio Santo. La Carmelita appears on both the 199 and the 799 pages.

Plan your week

  • Start with the neighborhood. Caesar’s, La Justina and Norte are in Zona Centro; Misión 19, Georgina, La Diferencia and Sushi en la Azotea are in Zona Río; Oryx, Casa Tijuana, Cabanna and Bodega 8 are in the Agua Caliente and Hipódromo area.
  • For a 799-peso dinner, book ahead through the restaurant’s usual phone or social media channels, and check its own posts for the menu.
  • Monday, Nov. 2, is Día de Muertos, and restaurants set their own hours, so confirm before you go.
  • Crossing from San Diego for dinner? Check the wait times before you head back; our alert kit has the links.
  • Our Restaurants guide covers paying, tipping and reservations, and lists Eric’s own reviews, including several of the places above.
