The Auditorio Municipal Fausto Gutiérrez Moreno is an indoor arena on Bulevar Gustavo Díaz Ordaz built in 1969, according to Wikipedia, and Zeta called it the main venue of Tijuana lucha libre in 2025. On a big night it fills up: of the more than 50 lucha libre cards held in Tijuana in 2025, 33 were here, many with packed stands, Mario Fuentes, president of the Comisión de Lucha Libre, told Zeta.

What’s there

A multipurpose indoor arena. The Instituto Municipal del Deporte de Tijuana (IMDET) listed it among the 24 sports spaces it managed when it renovated and cleaned the auditorium in 2017, Zeta reported. Several promotions book it: Zeta’s announcements put The Crash, AAA and Lucka Libre cards here, and in its 2025 review Zeta said The Crash and AAA each held about one card a month in Tijuana, and also mentioned Lucka Libre and Promociones El Cholo. Atly’s venue listing adds boxing and other sports events.

What to expect

A night here is a full card, not a single fight. Zeta’s listings show several matches per show, from trios and tag teams to singles bouts. On Oct. 23, 2026, for example, Lucka Libre’s announced card featured the L.A. Park family in a trios main event, Gran Metalik and Mascarita Dorada in the semifinal, another trios match, a four-way women’s title bout and two local matches. The arena also hosted Hijo del Santo’s Tijuana farewell card on June 20, 2025, which drew more than 5,000 people and sold out, according to Zeta.

Prices and entry

Prices depend on the promotion and the card. Tickets for the Oct. 23, 2026, Lucka Libre show started at 300 pesos at the arena’s box office, Zeta reported. The box office is where Zeta’s announcements send fans for The Crash, AAA and Lucka Libre shows, and AAA also sold through Primera Fila (primerafila.mx) for its June 2026 card. Atly’s listing, built from visitor reviews, says the small box office takes credit cards. The Friday cards we’ve tracked, in February 2025, June 2026 and October 2026, were all set to start at 8:30 p.m.

Getting there

The arena is at Blvd. Gustavo Díaz Ordaz s/n, in Fraccionamiento El Paraíso. Mapcarta’s map puts it about 480 meters northeast of Estadio Caliente, the Xolos’ stadium, and our Agua Caliente and Hipódromo guide covers food and hotels nearby. According to Atly’s listing, there’s no parking, and it suggests coming by taxi or bus. If you’re crossing back to San Diego after a late card, check the border waits before you leave.

Good to know

  • The arena opens for events rather than regular hours, so watch the promotions’ announcements and our calendar for the next card.
  • You’ll see it called simply the Auditorio Municipal; the full name honors Fausto Gutiérrez Moreno.
  • For lucha libre history before the show, visit MULLME, the lucha libre museum in Zona Centro.
