Antigua Bodega de Papel, also billed as La Antigua Bodega de Papel, is a bar and show room on Plutarco Elías Calles in Tijuana’s Zona Centro. Atly describes it as a bohemian bar with live folk music, artistic decor and a focus on mixology, and its October 2026 calendar on Tijuana Eventos runs from stand-up comedy to tribute concerts.

The vibe

Atly describes the atmosphere as lively yet pleasant. Its summary notes that it can get warm inside and that tables are sometimes shared when it’s busy, and it recommends booking ahead on show nights. According to the same page, Fridays bring karaoke and live shows, while Wednesdays mix plays, contests, stand-up and karaoke. One Atly reviewer mentions the nachos with meat.

What to expect

All of the dated listings we found are ticketed shows. In October 2026, Tijuana Eventos listed a mentalism show, Héctor Cervantes’s Libre Albedrío, on Oct. 2; a tribute to Mon Laferte and Natalia Lafourcade on Oct. 9, organized by the venue itself; a Halloween stand-up lineup from Muchos Traumas Comedy on Oct. 24; a one-night show by Pelillos de Culiacán with guest Víctor Beltrán on Oct. 29; and Hahahawelin, a Halloween stand-up night with a costume contest and an EDM afterparty, on Oct. 31 (see our listing).

Listed start times ran from 8 to 10 p.m., and doors opened at 8 p.m. for the shows that listed a doors time. Every October 2026 show we found was for adults only.

Prices and entry

Ticket prices in those listings ran from MX$200 to MX$380, plus service charges: MX$200 in presale or MX$250 at the door or on the day for the stand-up nights, MX$250 for the mentalism and Pelillos shows, and MX$380 for the tribute concert. All five listed the venue’s box office, and tickets for the Oct. 31 show were also sold online through Boletia. We didn’t find a published cover or drink prices for nights without a show. Bring ID, since the listed shows were 18+.
