Birria Sí is a beef birria taquería in Colonia Libertad, near the border east of downtown, and its name keeps turning up in local guides. San Diego Magazine’s 2025 locals’ guide to Tijuana sends readers there for rich, flavorful birria tacos, and San Diego Red put it on its February 2025 list of five must-try birria spots. It’s still serving: its Uber Eats store shows customer reviews dated as recently as August 2026.
The food
The draw is shredded beef birria, which San Diego Red describes as Poblano-style: spiced and stewed, with cumin and cinnamon coming through strongly. When you’re asked whether you want your tacos “¿con todo?”, say yes and they come with onion, cilantro and shredded cabbage, the same outlet says. The menu posted on Uber Eats adds quesabirria, birria tostadas, mulitas and crispy tacos dorados, plus orders of birria to share, and an earlier San Diego Red review, from 2023, singled out the juicy, soft meat.
What to expect
This is an early-morning taco stop as much as a lunch one: San Diego Red’s 2025 listing has it opening at 6 a.m. every day and closing at 7:30 p.m. on Monday and Wednesday through Saturday and at 4 p.m. on Tuesday and Sunday. Its Uber Eats store lists shorter hours, 6:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., so if you’re heading over in the afternoon, check first.
Prices and entry
On its Uber Eats menu, checked Oct. 22, 2026, a birria taco costs 45 pesos, a quesabirria 85, a birria tostada 55 and a mulita 115, with orders of birria at 100, 190 and 560 pesos depending on size. Delivery-app prices may differ from what you pay in person; when San Diego Red visited in 2023, a taco was 30 pesos and a quesabirria 65. Bring cash: San Diego Red lists it as cash only.
Getting there
San Diego Red’s 2025 listing and the Uber Eats store give the address as Belisario Domínguez (Calle 11) 329, in Colonia Libertad; San Diego Red’s 2023 review listed it as Avenida Miguel Anzurez 329, in the same colonia, so check the pin on a map before you set out. From downtown or the San Ysidro crossing, a taxi or ride-hail is the easy option.
