Hotel Indigo Tijuana Downtown is a new boutique hotel on Avenida Revolución under IHG’s Hotel Indigo brand. Baja California Gov. Marina del Pilar Ávila Olmeda cut the ribbon on May 7, 2026, as the hotel began a soft opening, according to Diario Tijuana and Uniradio Informa, which reported an investment of US$53 million by the local Cosmopolitan Group; Diario Tijuana named Arriva Hospitality Group as the operator. Guest reviews on Trip.com dated as recently as October 2026 show it taking guests this fall.

What’s there

The opening coverage counted 97 rooms (Trip.com lists 111), along with a gym, event halls and business facilities. IHG’s own page lists premium and standard rooms, a fitness center, daily housekeeping, free Wi-Fi, a smoke-free policy and secure, gated parking on site for registered guests. Its FAQ says there’s no pool and no complimentary shuttle.

The restaurant, The Foreign Club, is “inspired by Tijuana’s Roaring Twenties,” according to IHG, and serves Mexican and international dishes made with locally sourced ingredients from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. Its bar, The Foreign Club Bar, is on the fifth floor, takes its cue from the clubs of the Prohibition era and pours handcrafted cocktails and wine from 2 to 11 p.m.

What to expect

Each Hotel Indigo is meant to reflect its neighborhood, and the developers said this one offers “a window into the essence of this border,” Uniradio Informa reported. Recent reviews on Trip.com praise clean, modern rooms, friendly staff and the central location. Others mention a slow check-in, a cold breakfast and, in one July review, a long wait for a prepaid room; Trip.com’s review summary also flags street noise. If sleep matters, ask for a quieter room when you book.

Check-in is at 3 p.m. and check-out at noon, and guests must be at least 18 to check in, IHG says. Getting there

The address is Calle Salvador Díaz Mirón (Calle Cuarta) 8177, Zona Centro, according to IHG, whose dining page also lists Avenida Revolución; Diario Tijuana and Uniradio Informa place the hotel on Revolución. Calle Cuarta meets Revolución three blocks south of the arch, which stands at Calle Primera. IHG puts Mercado Hidalgo and the Plaza Río shopping center about 2 kilometers away. If you drive, the on-site parking is for registered guests only.
