Fiesta Inn Tijuana Otay, also listed as Fiesta Inn Otay Aeropuerto, is a 142-room hotel on Rampa Aeropuerto, on the Otay side of the city and about a seven-minute drive from Tijuana International Airport, according to Expedia. Guest reviews on Expedia dated as recently as Oct. 20, 2026 show it open and taking guests this fall.
What’s there
Expedia lists an outdoor pool, a gym, a restaurant and a coffee shop, a bar and free self-parking; breakfast is a buffet that costs extra. Expedia also lists 24-hour room service, laundry and free in-room WiFi, and Zona Turística’s listing adds a business center. Expedia shows two room types, the Single Plus (one king bed) and the Double Plus (two double beds), both with city views; check the booking page for the rest. Expedia lists check-in from 3 p.m. to midnight, which matters if your flight lands late: if you’ll arrive after that, call the hotel ahead.
What to expect
This is a practical base rather than a destination. The location makes sense for an early flight out of Tijuana, for business on the Otay side of town or for a trip that uses the Cross Border Xpress (CBX), the pedestrian bridge that lets passengers with a boarding pass walk across the border to the Tijuana airport, as Times of San Diego describes it. If your plans center on Avenida Revolución, Zona Río or Agua Caliente, our Where to stay guide lists hotels in those areas.
Prices and booking
Rates change by date, so compare the hotel chain’s own site with travel sites before you book, and check whether breakfast is part of your rate. Check-in starts at 3 p.m. and check-out is at noon, per Expedia. Self-parking is free; Expedia lists the buffet breakfast as an extra charge.
Getting there
The hotel is at Rampa Aeropuerto 16000, Col. La Pechuga, according to Zona Turística, and Expedia gives the same street address. Arriving by plane, it’s about seven minutes away by car, per Expedia, and Zona Turística describes it as five minutes from the border. Driving from San Diego, you’ll find free parking on site. Flying out through CBX instead? Remember that the bridge is for passengers with a boarding pass, per Times of San Diego, so it isn’t a general-purpose crossing.
