The vibe
Entono Live Music & Comedy, which some listings shorten to Entono Bar, is a show room on Boulevard Sánchez Taboada in Zona Río. Tijuana Eventos describes it as a space dedicated to music and comedy shows, and its calendar bears that out: most of what it books is stand-up by Mexican comedians, with the occasional singer bringing a pared-down set. You come for whoever is on the bill that night, and every show is for adults only.
Its 2026 calendar shows the range. In January, Semanario Zeta previewed José Luis Zagar’s irreverent, adults-only stand-up there. In June, the paper announced a stop on Nicho Hinojosa’s acoustic “¡Claro que sí!” tour, billed as a more intimate format, and warned that capacity was limited. This fall, Tijuana Eventos lists Chaironman for two nights on Oct. 15 and 16, Alan Saldaña on Oct. 17 and El Gordo y El Otro’s “El Chulo y Don Emeterio” on Nov. 6 and 7.
What to expect
Each show is ticketed separately, so start with the listing for the night you want. In the 2026 listings we checked, the shows fell on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights. Most started at 8 p.m., but not all: El Gordo y El Otro’s November dates are listed at 7 p.m., and Zeta gave a 10 p.m. start for Nicho Hinojosa’s June concert, so check the time printed on your ticket.
The comics on its 2026 bills are Mexican acts playing to a local crowd, so expect the comedy in Spanish. If your Spanish is shaky, a music night is the easier way in.
Prices and entry
Prices depend on the act. General admission in the 2026 listings ran from 550 pesos (José Luis Zagar in January, Alan Saldaña in October) to 700 pesos (Chaironman and El Gordo y El Otro), and Zeta reported tickets from 1,200 pesos for Nicho Hinojosa. Service charges are added on top when you buy through a ticketing site. How you buy varies by show: the Entono box office, EnTuTaquilla and Ticketón have all been used this year, and the Chaironman and El Gordo y El Otro listings give 664 385 2385 for reservations. Shows are for adults (mayores de edad), so bring ID.
Getting there
Entono is at Blvd. Gral. Rodolfo Sánchez Taboada 10521-D, in Zona Urbana Río. That’s the same boulevard as Komasa Río, the sit-down Japanese restaurant, which our profile lists as open until 11 p.m. Monday to Saturday, so dinner before an 8 p.m. show is easy to arrange. A taxi or ride-hail is the simplest way in and out; use the map link above. If you’re crossing back to San Diego after a late show, check the CBP wait times before you head to the line.
Good to know
- Zeta flagged limited capacity for the June concert, so buy early when a well-known name is on the bill.
- Adults only; bring ID.
- Make a night of Zona Río: Plaza Fiesta’s cluster of small bars and the concert stage at La Maquila are in the same district; our Zona Río guide puts them together.
- Upcoming shows here also appear on our calendar.
