Serial Atlético Delegacional: a 5K at Cerro de las Abejas park in Presa Este

The eighth stage of Tijuana’s Serial Atlético Delegacional, the city’s race series that moves from borough to borough, is a 5K in Presa Este on Saturday, Nov. 7, starting at 7:15 a.m. at the Cerro de las Abejas recreation and sports park, which is also the finish, the city’s sports institute, IMDET, announced, according to Zeta. The park, in eastern Tijuana, opened in 2024 with a jogging track, hiking trails and parking, San Diego Red reported at the time, and a 2023 Zeta report placed it on Calle Refugio Este in colonia Fideicomiso El Florido.

Registration is 270 pesos plus VAT and covers all nine stages of the 2026 series. New runners can sign up online through Friday, Nov. 6, through a link IMDET said it would share on its channels, and must accept a liability waiver; race numbers are picked up at IMDET’s offices from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. after registration is validated.
