Posadarks, a December party for fans of dark music, takes over Black Box on Friday, Dec. 11: Synth Sorrow plays a Depeche Mode tribute, and DJ Gothox and DJ Letycure take the decks, according to Tijuana Eventos, which lists doors at 7 p.m. and general admission at 200 pesos plus service charges on Arema. Set times haven’t been announced.

It’s 18 and over with an official ID. Tickets are also sold at the Black Box, El Foro, Hotel Real Inn and Observatorio box offices; Tijuana Eventos lists the Black Box box office as open 1 to 7 p.m., Tuesday to Sunday. Black Box is on Avenida Revolución between Calles 6a and 7a (profile). The name looks like a play on the posadas, the nine nights of Christmas gatherings from Dec. 16 to 24; more holiday plans are in our December planner.
