The Rosarito Beach Hotel hosts its Noche de Catrinas on Saturday, Oct. 31, in its Salón Mexicano. Doors open at 5 p.m., and the night starts at 6 p.m. with a folkloric dance parade of catrinas, followed by a buffet dinner, live music from La Sonora Con Dinamita and a DJ, and a catrina contest with prizes for the top three, according to the hotel’s Eventbrite listing, which runs until 11:30 p.m. Catrina makeup is offered free while spots last, and parking is free.
San Diego Red lists tickets at 863 pesos per person; the Eventbrite page didn’t show prices when we checked and says there are no refunds. Tickets are on Eventbrite; the state tourism portal also lists a phone number, 661 612 1126.
