Francisco “N” has been arrested for his suspected involvement in the robbery of belongings from Venezuelan sports commentator Alexander Azuaje. The incident reportedly occurred over the past weekend in Mexicali.

According to Efrén Ruiz Romo, the regional prosecutor for Mexicali, the arrest took place in the western part of the city. At the time of the arrest, authorities discovered various drugs among the suspect’s belongings. This led them to further suspect his connection to the robbery.

“The individual was located in his residential neighborhood, in the public vicinity. During the search, we found narcotics on his person,” the prosecutor noted.

Several items belonging to the sports commentator have been recovered; however, some objects remain missing. Following Francisco “N”‘s detention, legal proceedings will commence as investigations continue to recover the remaining property.

The prosecutor also mentioned that the detainee might be connected to other recent residential burglaries in the state’s capital, and he will be investigated for these incidents as well.
