**Exciting Times Ahead: “El Bebé” Fishing Tournament in Rosarito on March 30th**
Get your fishing gear ready for the much-anticipated “El Bebé” Fishing Tournament happening at Playa El Bebé in Rosarito on Sunday, March 30th. This event marks the first stage of the Baja California state fishing competition and promises a day filled with excitement and skillful angling.
Set to attract anglers from across the state and Southern California, last year’s event boasted nearly 150 participants. This tournament is part of the official calendar by SEPESCA BC and is supported by the administration led by Governor Marina del Pilar Ávila Olmeda. Organizing responsibility lies with the Baja California Fishing Clubs Association, along with the local TJ Fishing Club, headed by Nemesio Salazar Vázquez and Omar Reyes Moreno.
The tournament will launch at 5:00 AM with registration and the fishing action kicks off at 7:00 AM. Participants will have until 1:00 PM to get their catches in for the weigh-in. Alongside the competition, expect raffle draws, food made from local fish, and awards in categories including kids, women, mojarra, and other species.
