Tijuana-raised singer-songwriter Julieta Venegas opens the 46th Feria del Libro de Tijuana on Friday, Oct. 23, presenting her memoir Norteña at 2 p.m. in Salón Los Amorosos, the fair’s main forum, which holds about 200 people, followed by a book signing, according to SanDiegoRed; El Imparcial lists the signing at 2 p.m. Admission to the fair is free, El Imparcial reported.
This is the first year the fair is held at Parque Morelos, in La Mesa; it runs through Nov. 1 with more than 140 book presentations, workshops and programming for children and teens, El Imparcial reported. The park is a drive or ride-hail from Zona Centro or Zona Río, and with about 200 seats in the forum, arriving early is a good idea.
