Reports of violent crimes continue to spark concerns among residents and officials in Tijuana as the year closes with a high number of homicides. Despite a slight decrease from the previous year, the city remains one of the most dangerous areas in the Baja California region affecting community safety and economic stability.
Efforts to curb violence have seen mixed results.
