## Taxi Route Accident in Tijuana Leaves Nine Injured

A taxi accident in Tijuana has resulted in nine people sustaining injuries. The incident occurred on November 23, 2024, when a taxi van operating on the Refugio-Otay route and carrying approximately 10 passengers, overturned on Boulevard 2000 near the Santa MarĂ­a neighborhood. The accident was triggered when the van was struck by another vehicle, causing it to veer off the road and fall into a small ravine.

Emergency services, including paramedics from the Red Cross, fire fighters, and local police, quickly arrived at the scene to assist the injured. While most injuries were minor, one woman required medical attention at a hospital. The driver of the vehicle that collided with the taxi remained at the scene as well and cooperated with authorities.

Additionally, on the same day, a separate incident involving a three-car collision occurred in the Jardines area of Playas de Tijuana. This crash left three individuals trapped inside their vehicles. They were subsequently rescued and transported to a hospital by Red Cross paramedics, with the condition of one minor reported as serious.
