Tecate Península is two weeks out: Caifanes, Interpol and Julieta Venegas on Oct. 24

The one-day Tecate Península festival takes over the Explanada del Estadio Caliente on Saturday, October 24. Caifanes, Interpol and Enjambre lead the bill, with Panteón Rococó, Siddhartha, Julieta Venegas, Midnight Generation and Bruses announced in May. The current listing also includes Cuco, Los Auténticos Decadentes, Ximena Sariñana, Los Caligaris, Nortec Collective (Bostich + Fussible), Los Rabanes, Olivia Wald and Percance.

It is Interpol’s first show in Tijuana, according to El Imparcial, and a hometown date for Julieta Venegas. Doors are listed at 12 p.m. Tickets are sold through Eticket; the listing shows prices from MX$1,430.

Plan the day

• The grounds are on Boulevard Agua Caliente in Hipódromo. Expect heavy traffic on the boulevard all afternoon; a ride-hail drop-off a few blocks away can be faster than driving in.
• Set times usually come out in the final days before the festival. Check the official channels before you go.
• If you are heading back to the U.S. the same night, check the border waits before you leave. Late-night lines after big events can be long.
