The traditional parade to commemorate Mexico’s Independence Day was held on Monday. The event began at 10:00 AM and lasted for approximately 40 minutes, featuring 100 contingents consisting of nearly three thousand participants, as reported by the municipal government.
The parade kicked off with traffic police officers on motorcycles, followed by members of the Secretariat of National Defense (SEDENA) and the National Guard (GN). Subsequently, municipal police officers marched alongside their patrol units. The procession also included classic fire trucks led by the municipal fire department director and vehicles from the municipal Civil Protection personnel.
Despite some attendees noting that the parade felt shorter than in previous years, the celebrations in Tijuana concluded without any incidents, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants.

The Independence Day festivities in Tijuana were marked by a peaceful and incident-free environment. The ceremony of the “Grito de Independencia,” a crucial part of the celebrations, saw the attendance of nearly 50,000 people.
