In a surprising incident, a man experiencing homelessness managed to steal a patrol vehicle from the National Guard facilities located on Adolfo López Mateos Boulevard in Ensenada. This action led to a pursuit by federal authorities on the morning of Thursday, February 13, 2025.
According to preliminary reports, the individual drove the patrol car to Club Rotario Street, continued along the Costero Boulevard, and eventually stopped in the Puente area, adjacent to the bike path. While attempting to flee through a nearby stream, the man was apprehended by law enforcement.
