### Family of Servando Salazar Protests at Prime Wheel, Demanding Answers

**Tijuana, Mexico** – Relatives of Servando Salazar Cano, a maintenance supervisor at Prime Wheel who has been missing since August 23, staged a protest outside the factory demanding expedited investigations into his disappearance.

Wendy Bravo, Salazar’s wife, expressed her frustration: “This is so the company and authorities see that I won’t stay silent. I feel exhausted from not getting answers. If we don’t keep raising our voices, they [the authorities] will forget. I just want to know where my husband is.”

The State Attorney General’s Office (FGE) has already collected genetic samples from one of Salazar’s daughters and his parents to compare DNA with blood samples found inside the industrial facility. However, results have yet to be disclosed.

Bravo criticized the delay in FGE’s examination of the factory’s waste disposal ovens, wondering why it took nine days to inspect an area filled with ashes where little evidence might remain.

Two individuals are currently in custody: Moisés “N,” an engineer, and José Alfredo “N,” the general supervisor of the foundry, waste, and machining ovens. Both were charged on September 5 with the crime of forced disappearance.

Bravo mentioned that her husband had a strictly work-related relationship with the detained individuals. She noted a glimmer of hope when these two were arrested and evidence was presented to her: “I believe the most insight I’ve received was when they detained the two people and showed me the evidence because I didn’t believe it initially.”

Protesters outside Prime Wheel chanted slogans such as “He entered alive, we want him back alive,” “Servando, listen, we are with you in this fight,” and “Justice.” Clarissa Cano, Salazar’s sister, urged the public to come forward with any information regarding his whereabouts: “What we want are answers, and we urge the community to show solidarity; today it’s us, tomorrow it could be anyone. It’s unjust for someone to go to work and never come back.”
