In the lush Valle de Guadalupe, located in Ensenada, a grim discovery was made at a remote property. Authorities found human remains, including nails and dental pieces, at a residence where five migrant workers were reported missing by their contractor. Later that night, local police apprehended six individuals on the same road, allegedly in possession of firearms and methamphetamine. Their identities were revealed as Rogelio Abraham Moreno Castaño, Jesus Manuel Casares Palma, Jesus Juven Vida Zazueta, Ricardo Gonzalez Rubio, Mario Alfonso Vizcarra Cardenas, and Gilberto Epifania Niebla Heredia. Notably, the person who alerted authorities about the missing workers also identified these detainees as his employees.

Regarding the confiscated firearms, Arturo confirmed ownership of two and stated they were legally registered for his protection. Within the residence, personal items like hair and dental pieces were found scattered, suggesting a possible violent encounter.
The police reported that on March 7th, patrol units identified a speeding black pickup truck, which prompted a stop for traffic violations. However, the driver evaded initial attempts to be stopped, leading to a high-tension altercation. Upon stopping, all occupants allegedly behaved aggressively, resulting in their arrest. A search turned up weapons, ammunition, and drugs inside the vehicle.
Arturo also highlighted an ongoing dispute over the ownership of the property itself, which has allegedly led to threats against his life. Despite being assured of big plans for developing the area into a tourism business considering its location within Baja’s popular wine region, the work was halted amidst these evolving events.
