### New Beer Honors the Origins of Caesar’s Salad Restaurant
The Plascencia restaurant group has launched a new craft beer, designed to pair perfectly with the iconic Caesar salad and other dishes from their renowned establishment on Avenida Revolución in Tijuana. The new brew, aptly named **Caesar’s Beer**, is a Blonde Ale with a 4.5% alcohol content produced in collaboration with a local brewery. This initiative seeks to pay homage to the historical restaurant, which has stood since the Prohibition era in the 1920s, and to celebrate the legacy of the Caesar salad as it marks its centennial.
Julián Plascencia, managing partner of Caesar’s restaurant, emphasized the significance of this release, stating, “It’s important to capture the spirit of a time when beer was more prevalent than wine. Many legendary beers have disappeared, and while we can only imagine their taste, this new beer seeks to resurrect the camaraderie and ambiance of that era.”
The development of **Caesar’s Beer** began in October 2024 with a vision to create a light yet flavorful brew. Damián Morales, co-founder of the collaborating brewery, explained that, “The beer is crafted with Pilsner malt, offering a bready aroma, and includes Citra hops for a pine-like finish. It’s a refreshing and easy-drinking beer.”
This is the third collaboration between Plascencia Group and local breweries, further demonstrating their commitment to creating personalized dining experiences. The beer will be available at various Insurgente outlets as well as all Plascencia Group restaurants in Tijuana, maintaining fresh batches of 60-liter kegs to uphold its quality.
