Tijuana singer Bruses is nominated for Propuesta alternativa del año, the alternative act of the year category, at the 2026 Premios Rolling Stone en Español, Zeta reported on Monday. The category honors projects that stand out for innovation and artistic exploration, according to the report.
The nomination follows Desde el coma, her second studio album, released on Aug. 22, 2025, with 15 songs. Zeta describes a dark aesthetic and introspective lyrics, with a sound that moves between electronic music and pop. The album is also in the running at this year’s Latin Grammys: adn40’s list of nominees, published Sept. 16, includes Bruses in Best Alternative Music Album for Desde el coma, Best Alternative Song for “Querida Amalia:” and Best Pop/Rock Song for “Ratera”, both tracks on the album, per Zeta.
She shares the Rolling Stone category with Álvaro Díaz, Easykid, EMJAY, Girl Ultra, iLe, Judeline, NSQK, Ralphie Choo, RØZ, Rusowsky and The Warning, per Zeta. The awards will be handed out over two nights in Mexico City on Nov. 25 and 26, with film, series and new narratives on the first night and music on the second. When Publimetro reported the dates in September, the venue had not been announced.
