Tijuana says its Auxilio Vial service operates around the San Ysidro and Otay crossings 24 hours a day, seven days a week. In an October 5 report, the city describes help with minor mechanical problems, tire changes and coordination of vehicle transfers.
The service began in February 2025. This is an update on an existing program, not a new crossing opening.

Roadside assistance is separate from U.S. admission and lane eligibility. Check CBP’s current wait report for your crossing and lane; the city announcement does not establish today’s wait time.
