### Two Men Found Dead in Rosarito
**Rosarito, August 29, 2024** – Two men were discovered dead in separate incidents in the municipality of Playas de Rosarito on Thursday, August 29.
The first incident occurred at 9:28 a.m., when emergency services received a report of a suspicious object inside the municipal cemetery in Plan Libertador. Municipal Police officers arrived at the scene and confirmed the object was a male individual dressed in dark clothing who was unresponsive. Paramedics were called in and determined that the man showed no signs of life.
Later, around noon, another man was fatally shot at the corner of Emiliano Zapata and Luis Hernández Streets, right in front of the M and M convenience store. The identity of the victim, described as a stout man with a goatee, has not yet been established.
No arrests have been made in connection with either incident.
These recent events bring the total number of homicides in Playas de Rosarito to ten for the month of August, and fifty for the year 2024.
