**Join the Fourth Edition of the “Challenge 30” with Tijuana’s Firefighters**
The Tijuana Fire Department is excited to invite residents to participate in the fourth edition of the “Challenge 30.” This engaging event will take place on Sunday, December 8th, starting at 8:00 AM at New City’s Medical Tower.
The challenge involves climbing and descending 30 floors in under 30 minutes, while carrying 30 kg and donning full Personal Protective Equipment. This initiative aims to raise public awareness about the demanding work firefighters face when responding to emergencies in tall buildings, where elevators aren’t used for safety reasons.
Rafael Carrillo Venegas, Acting Chief of Tijuana’s Fire Department, emphasized the importance of this event in fostering community understanding of the physical challenges faced by firefighters.
Registration will open at 7:00 AM on the day of the event, in the parking lot of Plaza Pueblo Amigo, located at Paseo del Centenario 9211, Zona Urbana RÃo Tijuana. This event is free and open to everyone. Medical staff will be on-site throughout the challenge to ensure participant safety.
