**Three People Killed in Tijuana on Christmas Day**

In a tragic series of events this Christmas in Tijuana, three individuals lost their lives across different areas of the city on December 25, 2024. The city has now recorded a staggering total of 1,789 homicides in 2024. Authorities have shared details of these incidents, yet no arrests have been made.

The first incident reported to the State’s Attorney General happened at 5:53 a.m. on Maria Rosa Street in the Niños Héroes neighborhood, within the San Antonio de los Buenos delegation. A 39-year-old unidentified male was found dead, with multiple injuries resembling those caused by gunshots.

Later that evening, at around 11:34 p.m., a second victim, approximately 65 years old, was discovered dead on Bulevar Cuauhtémoc in the lower part of the Libertad neighborhood. The elderly man suffered wounds to his head, neck, and back.

Just twelve minutes later, the third victim was found. Authorities discovered a burned body in the back seat of a sedan without visible plates, abandoned in Miramar Canyon of the Miramar neighborhood. Due to the condition of the body, the sex and age of the victim were undetermined.

As Tijuana reaches 118 homicides this December, these events contribute to the ongoing safety challenges faced by the city.
