**By Marcos A. Angulo Álvarez, September 4, 2024**
This coming Friday, September 6th, the “Noche de Box” event will take place at the Grand Hotel Tijuana. Organized by Jorge Marrón Promotions, Promociones Mayen, in partnership with Paco Presents, and Mandos Boxing Promotions, this evening promises a series of thrilling boxing matches.
The event will feature six professional fights, headlined by the welterweight clash between Ronaldo “Chacal” Briseño and Omar Olvera. Briseño, hailing from Guadalajara, Jalisco, boasts an impressive record of 8-0-2 with two knockouts. His opponent, Olvera from the State of Mexico, holds a record of 4-6-2 with one knockout.
“This will be our penultimate event of the year. Though we have only six bouts scheduled, they are all highly competitive,” said promoter Jorge Marrón. “We are starting with two exhibition fights to give the new generation a chance before moving on to the professional matches.”
Marrón highlighted the main event, saying, “Briseño is an excellent fighter, undefeated so far, but he will be facing an opponent who has ended the undefeated streaks of three other boxers. It’s going to be an exciting fight with every round full of action.”
The event will kick off at 7:30 PM. General admission tickets are available starting at 400 pesos.
“We look forward to seeing everyone there. It’s going to be an evening of great fights,” Marrón concluded.
