**IMDET Opens Registration for 2025 Sporting Events**
In an effort to organize the 2025 sports calendar efficiently, the Municipal Sports Institute of Tijuana (IMDET), in collaboration with the Municipal Athletics League (LIMAT), has launched a call for the registration of sports events for the upcoming year.
Carlos Eriaza King Ristori, the director of IMDET, announced that this invitation is extended to individuals, organizations, clubs, associations, and institutions interested in hosting a sporting event in 2025. Registrations are open throughout November.
Applications will be received from Monday to Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. at the IMDET offices located within the CREA Sports Unit. Those interested must contact the department of Associated Sports of the Paramunicipal.
The application requirements include a formal request directed to the IMDET director, a properly filled and signed event request, an event map, a copy of the responsible party’s official ID, the completion of an enrollment form provided by the Paramunicipal, and proof of medical insurance.
Event organizers are also required to attend a meeting on Monday, December 2 at 6:00 p.m., with the location to be announced. During this session, details and possible date adjustments will be discussed.
The activities considered for the 2025 sports calendar include officially organized events by IMDET, traditional runs from previous years, charity athletic races, and events from all disciplines.
