**San Diego County Fair Unveils Community Programs for 2025**

The San Diego County Fair is gearing up for its much-anticipated return from June 11 to July 6, 2025, in Del Mar, California. As part of the preparations, the 22nd District Agricultural Association has announced an exciting array of community participation and outreach programs designed to make this year’s fair more inclusive and beneficial for the local community.

Building on the success of past efforts, this year’s fair will once again host its popular “Care ‘n Share” toy drive, which supports the Children’s Hospital of the Californias in Tijuana. Other returning programs include the Community Artists program, Community Banners program, and opportunities for involvement in Competitive Exhibitions. The “Fair for All” ticket initiative, Don Diego Scholarship Foundation, Flag Raising program, and “Plant*Grow*Eat” initiative will also return.

This year, the fair is expanding its community service outreach by partnering with new non-profit organizations and allies. Among the new additions is the San Diego Food Bank, which will present a special exhibit on food.

“Our partnerships with non-profit organizations, community groups, and local and state government agencies ensure our Fair remains accessible, educational, service-oriented, and reflective of our diverse communities,” said Moore, General Manager of the District. “Our Fair is about more than just shows, fun, and unique foods. The heart of the San Diego County Fair lies with its attendees. It’s why we strive to create a place where everyone, regardless of their background or socioeconomic status, can come together and celebrate who we are.”

Schenk, the Executive President, emphasized, “We dedicate these resources to our programs because we believe it’s important. We do it because we love the Fair and want to share that love with our community. And we do it because when we say we want our Fair to offer something for everyone, we truly mean it.”

A total estimated investment of $1.84 million is planned for community programs and services at the fair, which has been recognized in previous editions for its remarkable achievements in marketing, advertising, contest exhibitions, photography, and agricultural education, among other areas.
