Four officers from the State Police have been temporarily reassigned from their duties in Rosarito after two formal complaints were lodged following the state police’s assumption of local security on March 7th. Baja California’s Secretary of Citizen Security, Laureano Carrillo RodrÃguez, announced that one complaint was submitted to the State Attorney General’s Office, while the other was directed to the Internal Control Body of the security department.
“We have received complaints concerning state police actions. Thus far, we are dealing with two official cases under investigation,” stated Carrillo RodrÃguez.
