Presently, we have two formal cases under investigation,” stated Carrillo Rodríguez.
He also addressed the ongoing claims circulating on social media, asserting that while these allegations are being reviewed, no additional formal reports have been registered.

Since March 7th, the State Police took over the reins of security in Rosarito, replacing the 264 municipal officers who are now undergoing extensive vetting that includes psychological, medical, and toxicology tests, as well as social background checks and polygraph examinations. Their firearms are also being scrutinized for serial numbers and codes.
