Four officers from the State Police have been temporarily reassigned in Rosarito following two formal complaints since the State Police took over local security operations on March 7th. According to Laureano Carrillo RodrÃguez, the Secretary of Citizen Security for Baja California, one complaint was lodged with the State Attorney General’s Office, and another was submitted to the Internal Control Body of the security department.
“We’ve received complaints about the State Police, with two formal cases on file that are currently under investigation,” Carrillo RodrÃguez stated. He also mentioned that while allegations have surfaced on social media, no additional formal reports have been made.
