### Final Stage of IMDET Delegational Athletic Series Announced
The 2024 IMDET Delegational Athletic Series will conclude on Saturday, September 21 with the seventh and final stage of this traditional event organized by the Municipal Institute of Sports, headed by Iván Fierro.
The 5-kilometer race will take place in the Centro district, starting at 7:15 AM near the Municipal Palace, which will also serve as the finish line. Participants have the chance to obtain one of the 2,000 collectible medals awarded to the first runners who cross the finish line. The medal features spaces for the medals awarded in the six initial stages of the series.
For those who missed earlier stages of the event, there will be an opportunity to collect a medal on Thursday, September 19 and Friday, September 20 at the IMDET offices located in Unidad Deportiva CREA. The offices will be open from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. To obtain a medal, participants must donate non-perishable food items and personal hygiene products for the Fundación Casa Hogar A.C., as well as present their maroon-colored runner’s number. Only one medal can be collected per number.
Since the Delegational Athletic Series is a charity event, donations of personal hygiene items and non-perishable foods for Clínica Jireh will also be accepted on the day of the race.
As this is the final stage of the series, there will be no new registrations, no replacements for lost numbers, and no number exchanges. Runners must confirm their participation through the provided link.
