### IMAC to Open Enrollment for Cultural Workshops Starting October

The Municipal Institute of Art and Culture (IMAC) will begin registrations for its cultural workshops this coming October. Tailored for a broad audience, including seniors over 60 and children under 12, these courses aim to offer a diverse range of artistic education opportunities at the Casa de la Cultura.

The academic coordination team at IMAC has developed over 70 courses and workshops that cover dance, arts, languages, visual arts, and literary studies. These offerings cater to various age groups and interests, from contemporary dance and ballet to digital photography and artistic drawing.

For those interested, further information is available via email at [email protected], the Facebook page “Amigos de la Casa de la Cultura de Tijuana”, or by calling 664 687 26 04. Details should be accessible starting October 1, as the new IMAC administration under the elected municipal president, Ismael Burgueño Ruiz, is still being finalized.

Currently, registration fees are set at 173 pesos with a monthly fee of 508 pesos. However, these prices are subject to change under the new administration. Potential participants are advised to wait until the first week of October for finalized enrollment dates.

Classes will run from Monday to Saturday, with morning and afternoon sessions available, allowing children, youth, and seniors to select the most convenient schedule. Dance classes, including contemporary, folkloric, Middle Eastern, ballet, tango, tap, and flamenco, are scheduled for Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Additionally, workshops for digital photography, artistic drawing, engraving, and children’s visual arts will be available, catering to different age brackets and ranging from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
