**Halloween Fun Run Announced at Esperanto Park**

Get ready for some spooky fun in Tijuana as Esperanto Park gears up to host a Halloween-themed 2-kilometer fun run on Thursday, October 31, 2024. This festive event is set to gather around 1,500 enthusiastic participants, all starting and finishing within the scenic Esperanto Park.

Cristina Armenta, the event coordinator, emphasized that the run is purely recreational, offering a delightful way for families to enjoy the Halloween spirit. Participation is completely free, with registration available at the park’s office from 7 AM to 8 PM, Tuesday through Sunday.

“The goal is to showcase the park and encourage more people to visit,” said Armenta. “We often see over 8,000 visitors on weekends, and what better way to promote our park than with a fun, family-friendly run? We chose a 2-kilometer distance because that’s the length of our paved pathway.”

Excitingly, the first 500 runners to cross the finish line will receive medals and commemorative t-shirts. The race will commence promptly at 7 PM.
