**Get Ready for the “El Bebé” Fishing Tournament in Rosarito This March 30th**

Attention all angling enthusiasts! The picturesque shores of Rosarito are set to host the much-anticipated “El Bebé” Fishing Tournament on March 30th. Organizers are anticipating a strong turnout for this exciting event, which kicks off Baja California’s state fishing competition season. Last year, nearly 150 anglers from across the region participated, with many traveling from Southern California to join the action.

This event is supported by the administration of Governor Marina del Pilar Ávila Olmeda and organized by the Baja California Fishing Clubs Association. TJ Fishing Club, led by Nemesio Salazar Vázquez and Omar Reyes Moreno, will host this inaugural round. It’s open to all levels, with registration starting at 5:00 AM and the fishing competition beginning at 7:00 AM. Participants must have their catches weighed by 1:00 PM.

Prizes will be awarded across various categories, including children’s, women’s, and different species of fish. Attendees can also look forward to raffles and locally-prepared fish dishes. Looking to the future, the second round in the series will take place on April 27th at Sunset Beach, Ensenada, hosted by Club Pura Vida, followed by a third round on July 20th at Playa El Pabellón in San Quintín, organized by Pioleros del Valle de San Quintín. Top performers will earn a spot to represent Baja California in the VI National Beach Sport Fishing Championship on September 19-20 at Playa Manzanilla, Jalisco.
