Attention fishing enthusiasts! Mark your calendars for the “El Bebé” Fishing Tournament, set to take place at Rosarito’s scenic Playa El Bebé this Sunday, March 30th. This event marks the kick-off of Baja California’s state fishing competitions, attracting anglers from all over the state and Southern California.
Organized by the Baja California Fishing Clubs Association, the tournament is supported by the regional government. The TJ Fishing Club, represented by Nemesio Salazar Vázquez and Omar Reyes Moreno, will host this thrilling event. Participants can expect a full day of competitive fishing, with registration beginning at 5:00 AM. The competition officially starts at 7:00 AM and concludes with the closing of the weigh-in line at 1:00 PM.
The tournament offers a variety of prize categories, including children’s and women’s divisions, as well as awards for mojarra and other species. Additionally, attendees can enjoy local fish delicacies and participate in raffles throughout the day.
