At 28 years old, Kevin Alejandro Contreras García is making significant strides in the world of comedy. Originally from Monterrey, Kevin, popularly known as “Bicolor,” has embarked on a solo tour across various regions of Mexico and the United States, aiming to make his mark as a standalone performer.
Recently performing at Entono, a popular night venue in the border city, Kevin managed to fill the place to capacity. I have been in this career for 21 years, still striving for that larger audience. I once came to Tijuana with Zagar and later with a comedy caravan to the Palenque, but this time, I was on my own. My next tour will perhaps be called ‘Don’t Leave Me Alone’,” Kevin shared with enthusiasm.

One must have good logistics, sound, expressions, and even dance or sing to put on a full show because audiences pay to enjoy a good performance,” explained Kevin, who has cultivated his skills from a young age — developing a passion for attention and performance through childhood antics and practices.
His unique stage name, “Bicolor,” stems from a personal connection. “I’m called Bicolor because red is my favorite color, and blue was my brother Henry’s, who passed away at 18, just as my dream of becoming a professional comedian was taking shape,” he reflected.
