**Mother Confesses After Leaving Baby’s Body in Freezer**

On February 19, after enduring months of inner turmoil, Adriana admitted to authorities that the body of her baby had been hidden in a freezer for about three months. Her account suggested that on November 16, 2024, she experienced a sudden miscarriage while taking a bath. In a panic, she tried to cut the umbilical cord with a kitchen knife and accidentally harmed the fetus. Subsequently, she wrapped the lifeless body in a towel, placed it in a plastic bag, and stored it inside her freezer.
The harrowing truth surfaced as she was cleaning her home on February 17, in preparation to rent it out. Two days later, on February 19, authorities discovered the infant’s corpse inside a blue plastic bag, labeled “Calimax”, outside a local store in the Libertad neighborhood.
The baby measured just 54 centimeters, and its fragile body bore four injuries: one irregular wound on the left side of the head, a linear wound on the left temple, and two irregular injuries on the torso. Forensic experts collected samples from the bag’s handles and various parts of the baby’s body as evidence.
Adriana N. was subsequently detained and is facing charges while awaiting further legal proceedings.
