### Armed Attack in Zona Río Leaves Three Injured; Three Suspects Detained

On the afternoon of August 19, 2024, an armed attack occurred in Zona Río, Tijuana, leaving three people injured: two men and one woman. Authorities have detained three suspects in connection with the incident.
According to reports, the shooting took place around 5:16 p.m. near the intersection of Bulevar Sánchez Taboada and Río Yaqui, close to the State Attorney General’s Office. The victims, who were traveling in a black Suburban SUV with Morelos state license plates, sustained injuries during the attack.
Municipal Police and Red Cross paramedics arrived at the scene and provided medical assistance to the injured individuals. The two men, aged 41 and 48, were reported to be in serious condition, while the 39-year-old woman was in stable condition.
Witnesses stated that the attackers fled in a black 2007 Edge SUV. Police launched a pursuit and managed to apprehend the suspects near Bulevar Sánchez Taboada and Paseo de los Héroes in Zona Río.
The detainees, aged 27, 29, and 44, were found with a handgun loaded with bullets, a long firearm with ammunition, and a magazine. They have been handed over to the appropriate authorities for further investigation.
