### Muestra del Vino 2024: A Celebration of Wine, Music, and Gastronomy
The 2024 Fiestas de la Vendimia began with a bang this past Friday, August 2nd, as wine enthusiasts gathered at Ensenada’s Riviera Cultural Center for the eagerly anticipated Muestra del Vino. Now in its 34th edition, this event spotlighted some of Baja California’s finest wines.
Attendees had the opportunity to sample 168 different wines, including reds, whites, and rosés from a variety of local producers. With commemorative glasses in hand, guests roamed the event, stopping at various stations to sip and converse with winemakers. Complementing the wine was an array of gourmet dishes prepared by over 50 top-tier local restaurants, creating perfect pairings.
But the evening wasn’t solely focused on wine. The event also featured live music, which set a festive atmosphere as guests meandered through the scenic gardens and halls of the Riviera Center. The musical lineup ranged from vibrant norteño to smooth jazz and spirited cumbia, ensuring there was something for everyone. To top off the night, Kinky delivered an electrifying performance that had the crowd buzzing.
This year’s event also highlighted wines from Chihuahua as a guest wine region, introducing attendees to a broader range of Mexican wines and fostering connections between different wine-producing regions.
Missed the event? Don’t fret. Muestra del Vino is an annual must-attend event. With a ticket price of 1,350 pesos, guests enjoyed a night full of excellent wine, gourmet food, and live entertainment. Note that this is an adults-only event—no children or pets allowed.
