## “I Hope to Find Him”: Wendy, Wife of the Missing Servando Salazar

Moisés “N” and José Alfredo “N”, an engineer and general supervisor at Prime Wheel, have been formally charged with the forced disappearance of their colleague, Servando Salazar Cano. After eight years at the company, Salazar Cano vanished on August 23, 2024, leaving behind a trail of confusion and unanswered questions.

Salazar Cano was last seen entering the factory on Exportadores Street, Chilpancingo Industrial Park, at approximately 7:40 a.m. Around 1:02 p.m., he attended a work meeting with colleagues. From that moment on, his whereabouts remain unknown. His car and personal belongings never left the factory’s premises, but his cellphone was later found at Plaza Santa Anita, about three kilometers away.

On August 24, his family began a fruitless search for him. Authorities at the Prosecutor’s Office received a missing person’s report the following day. A thorough search of the Prime Wheel facilities started on August 26, with over 3,000 hours of video footage from 140 cameras reviewed by a team of IT experts.

According to Alejandro Arregui from the Labor Department, Prime Wheel employs 5,800 workers, and over 80 staff interviews have been conducted so far. On August 30, arrest warrants were issued for Moisés “N” and José Alfredo “N” for the crime of forced disappearance. Both had worked at Prime Wheel for over a decade alongside Salazar.

Surveillance footage and the discovery of Salazar’s phone pointed towards a Jeep Chrysler, belonging to Moisés, seen leaving during the last known contact with Salazar. The detained individuals denied any involvement, initially claiming they went to Plaza Centrum, Otay, but surveillance footage contradicted their statements.

Investigations revealed blood traces in factory bathrooms and other evidence suggesting a potential larger conspiracy. Prosecutor María Elena Andrade Ramírez hinted at possible involvement from higher-ups regarding forced disappearance orders.

On September 5, a court hearing concluded with the imprisonment of Moisés “N” and José Alfredo “N,” facing up to 50 years in prison if convicted. Wendy Bravo, Salazar Cano’s wife, continues her tireless campaign to ensure justice. Despite being pregnant, she actively participates in searches and marches with the foundation “Todos Somos Erick Carrillo.”

“I won’t stop until I find him alive,” vows Wendy, keeping hope alive amid despair. As of September 9, the mystery of Servando Salazar’s disappearance endures.
