**Advocating for the Welfare of State Education System Workers**

In my role as the president and representative of our organization, comprised of both current and former employees of the State Education System, I am writing to introduce our civil association, which is non-profit and politically neutral. Our primary mission is to advocate for the welfare and rights of our members, especially in circumstances where their rights may be compromised or threatened by authorities.

Our association encompasses members from various unions, which theoretically represent their affiliates. However, this need for unity and legal standing arose from these same unions often pressuring members to accept terms that undermine their rights, instead of protecting them as intended.

Another crucial aspect of our mission is the protection of human rights for all members. We seek to engage with authorities on pressing issues such as healthcare, housing, and the enforcement of laws regarding rights and entitlements.

Despite being a newly established association, our members—both active and retired—bring extensive professional experience and a dedication to collective causes, honesty, and continuous improvement of all aspects of an educational worker’s life in Baja California. Regrettably, it’s all too common for administrators and leaders to unfairly shift their mistakes onto the workers.

Our organization, Dignidad y Democracia Magisterial de Baja California, A.C., is committed to principles of legality, justice, and respect for human rights. Our primary goal is to ensure our members’ rights are upheld.

We hope to meet with you soon to discuss our work plan.

Sincerely,

Prof. Luis Mendoza LeĂłn
President of the Directive Board

In recent developments, Baja California’s State Education System workers have been voicing concerns over administrative challenges and inadequate support. In particular, there has been a significant focus on issues such as backlogs in salary payments, insufficient teaching resources, and the need for updated infrastructure.

The state government has announced a review aimed at identifying and addressing these critical issues, committing to improving the conditions for teachers and educational staff. However, union representatives emphasize the need for swift and decisive action, rather than prolonged discussions. The workers are calling for transparency and accountability from both the unions and authorities to ensure their voices are heard and needs are met efficiently.
