### Violent Robbery of Uber Driver Leads to Recovery of Stolen Vehicle
A violent robbery targeting an Uber driver occurred in the Tercera Etapa del Río neighborhood on the night of Friday, August 16. As a result, two individuals were apprehended and the stolen vehicle was recovered.
According to a report from the Municipal Police, officers were approached by a citizen on Friday night who claimed to have been violently assaulted by two men and a woman. Responding to the request for help, the police initiated a pursuit to recover the stolen car, ultimately intercepting it a short distance away.
During the confrontation, one of the suspects produced a firearm and aimed it at the officers, prompting them to neutralize him immediately. Paramedics from the Red Cross arrived to administer first aid and transport the injured assailant to the nearest hospital for medical care.
While the police detained the woman at the scene, the third suspect managed to escape amidst the traffic. The individuals arrested were identified as Osvaldo “N”, 36, and Ericka “N”, 39. A 9mm pistol was seized, and the stolen vehicle was successfully recovered.
