### UABC Hosts Successful Opportunistic Buyer and First Collaborators Raffles
The Autonomous University of Baja California (UABC) recently carried out the Opportunistic Buyer Raffle and the First Collaborators Raffle as part of its 93rd Grand Raffle event. These raffles are instrumental in raising funds to support higher education at the university.
#### Opportunistic Buyer Raffle Winners
Marco Antonio from Mexicali emerged as the grand prize winner, securing an exciting “Explorer Combo” which includes a 2024 Toyota Tacoma TRD Sport 4×4, a 2024 Can-Am Outlander X mr 1000r with an included trailer, a KTT camping tent, a Yeti cooler, four foldable chairs, a table, and an inflatable mattress. This prize was secured with ticket number 16,629. The second prize, a 2024 BMW Series 2, went to Blanca from Ensenada, while Luis Alberto from Tijuana won a 100,000 pesos check.
Additional prizes distributed included ten checks of 10,000 pesos, ten cash prizes of 5,000 pesos, and 464 prizes of 1,500 pesos. Sellers of winning tickets in the top 13 prizes also received additional rewards. A total of 163,719 tickets associated with purchasers who entered before October 31 were included in this raffle.
#### First Collaborators Raffle Highlights
The First Collaborators Raffle also celebrated those involved in ticket sales. Cassandra from Ensenada won a first prize Mazda 2 IGT 2024, while Elizabeth from Mexicali took home a “Smart Combo” consisting of a MacBook Air 13-inch M2, an iPhone 15 Pro Max, a Series 9 Smart Watch, and third-generation AirPods. Furthermore, Martha Leticia from Mexicali received a 50,000 pesos check. This raffle featured 321,632 entries.
The entire process was monitored for fairness and legality, with the presence of government and university officials.
Participants in the Opportunistic Buyer Raffle will also gain automatic entry into the 93rd Grand Raffle on December 12, 2024, where a grand prize of 25 million pesos is up for grabs, along with other exciting prizes including vehicles and cash.
The official list of winners can be found on the official UABC Raffles website starting November 10 and prizes can be claimed from November 11.
