TIJUANA, November 7, 2024 – Tragic news has emerged from Tijuana, where the body of 16-year-old Víctor Javier Hilares Navar was found after being missing for more than a month. The search, led by the collective Todos Somos Erick Carrillo, came to a sorrowful end when the young man’s remains were discovered in Lomas Taurinas, a neighborhood in Tijuana.
According to Eddy Carrillo, president of the search group, Víctor had been missing since October 2, 2024, prompting an active Amber Alert. His body was located in a charred house on land situated above Ecoparque Pasteje. The boy’s mother has confirmed the identification of her son’s body.
This discovery is not the first for the group in the vicinity of Ecoparque Pasteje. On October 16, they discovered another grave containing four male bodies, illustrating the ongoing crisis of disappearances in the area.
