Former Mexican pitcher Fernando “Toro” Valenzuela, a legendary figure among the Los Angeles Dodgers, has been admitted to a Los Angeles hospital, according to various sources.
Journalist David Faitelson reported this on his account on X (formerly known as Twitter), stating, “I have a report from Los Angeles confirming that the legendary ex-pitcher Fernando Valenzuela has been hospitalized. Details are scarce at this moment.”
Additionally, Faitelson, associated with the TUDN network, mentioned that Valenzuela and his family have chosen to keep his medical condition confidential: “He and his family have desired to keep the illness private. We pray for his speedy recovery.”
