Tijuana Youth Bicicross Bash

Youngsters in Tijuana gear up for the Bicicross Tournament, a thrilling sports event featuring various age categories. From fun rides to fierce competition, IMDET ensures a inclusive and exciting experience for all participants!

### IMDET Launches Tijuana Bicicross Tournament

The municipal sports authority of Tijuana is set to launch an exciting Bicicross Tournament, engaging youth across the city. Starting February 24th, nine different districts will host the competition, inviting youngsters aged 6 to 13 to participate across multiple age categories: 6-7, 8-9, 10-11, and 12-13 years.

This free event requires registration, with participants needing a 20-inch bicycle and a safety helmet. However, for those without equipment, IMDET offers support by providing bicycles and helmets. Participants must also present their CURP, wear athletic clothing, and importantly, they should not belong to any state teams.

The tournament will progress from local subdelegational events, reaching the delegational level, where the top five competitors in each category will advance to the municipal finals. These finals are slated for April 5th at the Bicicross track in Friendship Park, where participants will compete for commemorative t-shirts, trophies, and medals awarded to the top three in each category.
