On Saturday, August 10, 2024, a white card bearing a threatening message was found inside a 2012 Volkswagen Passat with California license plates (7LFW059). The vehicle was parked in front of “El Barrilito” grocery store on Sánchez Taboada Boulevard and Órbita Street in the Sánchez Taboada neighborhood of Tijuana. The discovery was made at approximately 10:35 AM when the presence of an abandoned car was reported via radio central. Pasted on the car’s windshield was a message that read:

“Miguel Ángel Bujanda, don’t try to play tough with the 4 Letters, your time is up. You’ve already done enough stealing. Don’t get yourself into any more trouble before you leave. We are well-established and strong. CJNG”

Inside the car, human remains wrapped in a white blanket were also found on the back seat, including a torso, an arm, and a head in an advanced state of decomposition.
