The Expo Tequila Tijuana 2024 is set to take place from October 17 to 20 along Avenida Revolución. This year’s event promises a lively experience, featuring participation from 45 tequila houses across the country and 65 booths offering a range of products. Attendees can indulge in tastings of various tequilas, as well as gastronomic delights including traditional Mexican snacks, seafood, and the famous Caesar salad, as announced by organizer Mario Alberto Murrieta Arellano.

Now in its 23rd year, the Expo Tequila is a family-friendly event expecting to draw around 800 visitors daily. This edition introduces seven new tequila houses and will showcase a rich variety of labels through presentations, tastings, educational talks, and engaging activities, all aimed at promoting tequila culture.

An artistic program will run throughout the four days, featuring 350 performers including solo artists, norteño bands, mariachis, and folk artists. Various entertainment activities are lined up for guests, including the ‘Reina del Tequila 2024’ pageant.

Juan Coronado Ruiz, director of the Tijuana Tourism and Convention Committee, praised the organizers for continuing this tradition that significantly benefits the local economy. “It is a pleasure to support the promotion of this event, which not only honors our culture and roots but also attracts numerous visitors from both locals and across the border,” he stated.

The Expo will take place on Avenida Revolución between Calle 8 and 9, with an entrance fee of 180 pesos. Children can enter for free. For more information, visit the official website at [expotequilatijuana.com](https://www.expotequilatijuana.com/).

### Additional Insights: The Growing Appeal of Expo Tequila

As the excitement for Expo Tequila Tijuana 2024 builds, tequila enthusiasts can look forward to more than just incredible tastings and cultural showcases. Tequila exports from Mexico are on the rise, with recent reports indicating significant growth in production and international sales. According to the Tequila Regulatory Council, 2023 saw a record number of tequila bottles exported globally, with the United States being the primary market.

The increasing popularity of tequila on the world stage has been attributed to its versatile flavor profile and expanding brand presence. This international appreciation is echoed locally in events such as Tijuana’s Expo, underscoring tequila’s role not just as a beverage but as part of cultural heritage.

In response to this booming interest, the expo has adapted by including more educational components where attendees can learn about the origins of tequila, the intricate production process, and the rich history that accompanies every bottle.

These developments signal a bright future for the tequila industry, as it continues to carve out a niche as both a treasured tradition and a rapidly growing global phenomenon.
